The Matterhorn Restaurant is owned and operated by my wife Eveline and I, the Chef, Werner Frei. In May 2006 we celebrated our 30th year in the restaurant industry. We started in Toronto and have been established in Cobourg, serving wiener schnitzels and Spätzli for the past 20 years. Many of our patrons have come to know us not only for the Swiss style foods we serve but also for the quality we guarantee. I encourage you to try some of our unique house specialties, even if they are challenging to pronounce. Schnitzels are not the only items we serve. We offer a wide selection on our menu, including steaks, seafood, chicken dishes and a small vegetarian selection. Every Friday and Saturday evening we also server roast prime rib of beef.
